Lion Containers (Offshore) Ltd are able to supply a range of DNV equipment from dry good storage to mud skips and cargo baskets. We have extensive knowledge about fabricating and certifying these units and are now modifying our DNV containers and custom building them to expand our client range.
Our containers are certified as DNV 2.7-1 as standard and we are also able to offer certification to DNV 2.7-3. The difference between the two is simple; 2.7-1 is a DNV unit which is used for storage offshore, however a 2.7-3 unit is certified if you are going to stay in the container longer, for example personnel using a workshop or office unit. The most popular unit that we provide is actually the 20ft new DNV 2.7-1 containers which come with certified slings and shackles.
In today’s advance world the demand for DNV has become very popular. Not only do we supply and fabricate standard DNV equipment we offer a range to pick from so it can be used up to its full potential. We can also offer Cargo baskets (an open top container used for general storage or special cargo), Tank Containers (used for transporting dangerous and non-dangerous fluids), Bulk Containers (transportation of solids in bulk) and many more. Whatever requirements, we are able to help!
